NOTICE OF COMPETITION

Dear competitors,

We would like to inform you that architects from Serbia as well as Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, China, Croatia, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Montenegro, Romania, Slovenia, Ukraine, and the USA submitted their works within the DG Company COMPETITION FOR THE ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTION OF THE STREET FACADE FOR THE FUTURE RESIDENTAL-COMMERCIAL BUILDING GF+2F+A – GF+3F+A IN SUBOTICA, PETEFI ŠANDOR STREET 3 AND 5.

A total of 93 works have been submitted.

The jury members responsible for the evaluation of the proposed solutions have been in session in the period April 23 – May 21. Using the elimination method, they have chosen the following 24 works in the first round: 2, 5, 6,7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 17, 27, 30, 32, 36, 43, 45, 53, 55, 57, 59, 60, 77, 85, 90, 92, and by final voting agreed upon the first 5 that shall be awarded.

The jury agreed that none of the proposed solutions provide a complete answer to all demands from the project task; yet, some of the works are exceptional, high quality and completely or partly meet the objectives set by the organizer.

In accordance with the above mentioned, the jury DECIDED the follows:

Congratulations to those awarded! We would like to thank all competitors for their time, effort, and distinctive solutions they offered and wish everyone a lot of success in their future work.

At the same time, we would like to invite you to the exhibition of works submitted to the competition. They shall be exhibited from June 3 until June 13 at the Raichle palace in Subotica (Modern art gallery Likovnisusret), FerencRaichle park 5.

The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for Friday, June 3 at 7 pm.
